Whiskey and double leather for me. Dainite would not be a deal breaker for me.

Boy, I wish C&J offered a NST. My ideal (fantasy) makeup would be:

    1. Whiskey Gianni (C&J for RL) with NST detailing
    2. Speed hooks
    3. Storm welt
    4. Ridgeway soles

hoit1981, first of all, thanks for coordinating this. I know it's a lot of work and hassle (or will be).

Look, I am so excited about this MTO (especially if it's the whiskey) that I do not want to be excluded from this MTO. Especially with Namor's input, I'm willing to roll the dice on this MTO in case it proceeds before I get to try the 341 last. So count me in if it's whiskey and double leather or dainite. Otherwise, I'll take a chance on waiting till I get to try the 341.

I'd do this without the nst. Awesome.

It looks like the whiskey is the winner it looks like you have enough for 6 orders.

Well I need to hear back from Lauren on the availability of whiskey. Hopefully that'll be Monday - I'll keep everyone posted.

I'd definately do this as well (Whiskey Gianni). Is that a possibility? And if so, would the price stay around $760? Thanks!

Would the Harlech go well with a suit?

I've sent C&J several emails but have yet to hear from them regarding whiskey. I will call them tomorrow to see if we can get all this straightened out.

No probs. I'm itching to get this thing ordered. Think it's going to be a great boot (no matter what the final makeup is going to be)!

    I've heard back regarding whiskey...

Sorry about the wait in response.

It is possible to make the boot up in Whisky Cordovan and this will be £600 as a special order.

Also I need to point out that when we make a boot up in this colour there tends to be colour differences through out. Some areas come through darker then others.

I hope this helps with your enquiry.

So, as far as I can tell at the moment, the following people are interesting in the following makeups...

    Apparent 100% Interest:
hoit1981 - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
BootSpell - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
alexandchau - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
rydenfan - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
BeSpiffington - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
zippyh - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
aldenfan - Harlech, whiskey, double leather

    Possible Interest:
chipshot - Harlech, whiskey, double leather?
AriGold - Harlech, whiskey, double leather?
PCinDC - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
WiredandTired - Harlech, whiskey, double leather
Asian Afro - Harlech, dark brown, ridgeway

Out (but continuing interest in dark brown cordovan Harlech with Ridgeway sole):
    budapest12 - Gianni, whiskey, ridgeway
laufer - Harlech, dark brown, ridgeway

It seems like Harlech, whiskey, double leather wins at the moment. How do people feel about the varying shades of whiskey leather? Bear in mind this makeup will cost £600 as opposed to £575.

If you are definitely interested in this makeup let me know and I'll arrange things with C&J - each of us would need to contact Lauren individually.

Thanks for all your work on this. Probably will sit this one out (just found a grail shoe and blew a chunk). Curious as to whether the shade of whiskey matches the swatch in the shop.

From reading the past posts in this thread it looks like it is GBP 600 including VAT, which I assume is GBP 500 with VAT excluded plus shipping, which puts it in the region of US $775 to $850 assuming no duties or taxes.

You are correct. For non-EU this would come to £480 ($771) + shipping.

That is great price sorry boys for me it is just Dark Brown Cordovan with a ridgeway soles. I cannot warm up to a Whiskey although I love when Whiskey warms me up. :satisfied:
