The Dainite sole kills it for me on all these makeups. Redenbach on Warlow 2.0 should be nice. Lindrick double leather soles look great as well. Swims then take off at office. Rubber soles don't cut it for me on expensive shoes.

I'm with you on this, I would also prefer if the latest Lindrick was on double leather, but can live with Dainite. I guess Dainite soles make more sense here in Sweden than in Southern California.

Agreed, they look great. Was secretly hoping for a lighter color (the Warlow 1.0 pics looked lighter) but it certainly is a beautiful shoe!

That is a very interesting shade. Dark Whiskey almost Cognac...if I would of known they would look like that I would have bought another pair...

@wqvong can you post more pics in different lighting scenarios?

    Thanks.

I just received the Lindrick in 8UK.
They are the almost same lengh than my "european" RL Marlow in size 8D US / 7UK. That is very strange even if it feet perfect for me.
    I will post picture tomorrow.

Yes. It looks like the old RL Marlow. It's a great color even if people who asked for usual Whiskey could be disapointed to receive this color instead. I would personnaly be happy to get Harlech is this color.

I'm hoping for some sunlight tomorrow to take some pics of both the Warlow and Lindrick. My Warlows look nearly dentical to the ones posted above with indoor lighting (maaaaaybe a hair lighter but nothing very noticeable if so).

Mine fit perfectly. So glad I ordered Pembrokes months ago to double check my size (and now I think I own more shortwings than I would ever need!)

Oh wow! Much darker shade than the Warlow 1.0. But exquisite nonetheless!

I wonder where our upcoming Whiskey Lindricks will fall on the spectrum. If they turn out close to this than that gives me an excuse to immediately hunt for another pair of something lighter, heh.

FWIW, the sticker on the box lists the leather as "New Whisky Shell Cordovan." Maybe they changed the "whisky" color overall?

I do like the color, but was expecting/hoping a little lighter as I bought not the Marlow and Lindrick in both brown and whisky (yes my wallet hates me) assuming there would be a greater contrast.

maybe whisky=bourbon or whiskey. It definitely looks more bourbon than whiskey to me. Either way, its a damn rich color and I'm very excited.

That does look pretty dark for whiskey.

My understanding is that Horween is replacing Whiskey with Bourbon.

All the colors on the Horween spectrum have grown considerably darker over the years.

This does not surprise me. The shoes look marvelous nonetheless.

    Thanks.

What would be the new Whiskey then? Some of the darker shades of Natural?

Here are mine with normal overhead indoor lighting. They do look a bit lighter than the other ones posted I think.
