Now that the Lindrick GMTO is finally finalized (very grateful for the energy, enthusiasm, and cooperation of both the styleforum and reddit communities that made this GMTO so smooth), I have an itching for one more before my freeze.

Pernilla (my primary contact for the Lindrick GMTO) confirmed that there is Navy Shell availability and would be willing to do this for the Camberley. Gauging interest.

    I proposed:

    Model: Camberley
    Upper: Navy Shell Cordovan
    Last: 348 (original)
    Width: Standard E (US D)
    Edging: Antique (original)
    Sole: Dainite (original)
    Cap Toe: Yes (original)
    Buckles: Silver (original)
    Welt: Flat Welt (original)

Cost: £725 (~£604 after excluding 16.67% VAT) plus £30 shipping

Let me know if you are interested.

if you start a navy shell boot GMTO with minimal broguing, I'm in. 5 eyelets/4 speed hooks and a plain toe/captoe would also be preferable.

    Also interested.

I am good with the captoe but am also fantasizing whether it would be even nicer with (i) medallion and (ii) without the captoe. Just a humble suggestion for consideration of fellow interested gents.

Grateful to BurntPockets and the SF community in general for making all these possible.

BurntPockets, I am good to go on these! Sign me up! The captoe does worry me since they don't always go with my feet. Also would need help on sizing. Medallion I am ambivalent on. But I like the idea of these.

I like this idea too. I think navy shell would be awesome so either BurntPockets's Camberly or a boot. I would prefer a plain no-cap toe and broguing can be left to others same with eyelets and speedhooks.

    @bcloudy

C&J have been a great help on sizing in the previous GMTOs, email them at MailOrder@crockettandjones.co.uk. They have a great collection of shoe sizing information from various customers for various brands.

I size the same in the Lindrick (325 Last). I recently tried on both the Lindrick and Camberley in store and found the Camberley to be slightly roomier (more breathing room for my pinky toe than the Lindrick).

Interested. Keep cap toe and no medallion, won't work with buckles IMO. and NO stormwelt!

For shell, I think the cap toe is fairly essential; IMO it creates a break from more tan usual shell "ripples". Why experiment outside the pictured model, looks great as is. If anything I would like to experiment with more versatile lasts.

Yea, the cap toe looks good as is on this model; it flows well with the strap and the flat shape of the toe box on this particular last.

I'll commit to the navy Camberly.
I think it definitely needs the cap toe.

I've had some problems fitting the Camberly but I think that's mostly due to the funky way Barney's sizes C&J.

I'm in on the camberley. Definitely cap toe! Sizing same as for the Harlech?
