Interestingly enough. These have zero bloom.

When I think of bloom, I think of the powdery white residue, of which, these have none.

    Thanks.

Sounds like a plan! Now need to find the money for tickets to Eastern Europe without her noticing. Would be infinitely easier funding tickets had I not spent them all on boots and shoes, ha

Yes, Marlow sizing is discussed often, though I haven't seen much about what I specifically was talking about.

Thanks guys. I will size down 1 full size.

This seems to be at odds with @Watchman1's recent analysis here: C&J Sizing. From the linked post, it would seem a US 13D Marlow is actually made on the UK 12.5E 325-last!

I can confirm that the difference is one full size in lenght

a US 9,5 D correspond to a UK 8,5 in lenght but the width is different

US D width usually has a "4" insole, UK E width has a "5" insole

I love the Lindrick and am in on it if that what the group decides. However, any consideration to the same options on a GMTO C&J Skye 2:

    Style: Skye 2
    Last: 325 (or 335)
    Upper: Dark Brown Shell Cordovan
    Width: UK E (US D)
    Welt: Storm
    Edging: Antique
Sole: Dainite Sole in Dark Brown with a thin leather mid-sole
Eyelets: All Dark Brown/Brass Metal Eyelets (no speed hooks)

And yet a great many if not the majority of SF members size down 1/2 for the Lindrick/Marlow and other RL CJ models. My Lindricks are roomy even 1/2 size down. Also, Kevin's remarks are contrary to other remarks CJ has previously made on this. But there are already 100 exchanges on this topic showing only that not everyone's feet -- or sizing preferences -- are the same.

Just got a response back from C&J regarding Whiskey. Seems like the Warlow and Warlech have caused the great whiskey drought of Spring 2016; no Whiskey Shell availability until June.

    "Dear Mr Guo

    Thank you for your reply.

At present we do not have any leathers available in Whiskey Cordovan. If you get an order together of 12 pairs we could start making these in the beginning of June with a production time of 8-12 weeks. The price would be approximately £750 for Whiskey Cordovan (once I have all the specifications I can get an accurate quote).

I hope this will be helpful and should you have further questions just let me know.

    Kind Regards

    Pernilla Searle
