    They look a lot like Marlow Pennies. Were they ever made in calf?

    Looks like shell to me. Non shell usually has more defined wrinkle lines in the creases, IMO.

    I didn't think they currently made full strap penny loafers like that for anyone other than RL certainly there's nothing like it on their site. The only example I could find was the Jersey which looks very different to that loafer.

    Bought some marlow shell pennies size 13 off ebay on a gamble, definitely didn't pay off. Does anyone have any recommendation on how to deal with the seller? Should I ask for a refund or just sell them myself?

    If he accepts returns no questions asked, then request a return. If he states no returns accepted, you should know better than to buy something you can't return without having your sizing nailed, and should try and sell them yourself.
