these have a gorgeous patina. I would wear them beat up and all with a pair of my fave RRL jeans. Would not wear with a suit without a recraft

They have received a new toplift which indicates they may have the imprint of the previous gent's footprint inside. Not something that makes for comfort IMHO.

Hmm maybe you're right. The microcreases say no but the look of the surface says yes. Tough one. I've seen these exact shoes in the C&J sale in Shell.

Absolutely NOT shell. They do sell this model in calf as well, and this is it.

Nice price on what appear to be almost new size 9 C&J for PRL:

I should not begrudge the flippers but these just sold the other day for under $75, I think. I did not bid since the shoes are not my size and for some (illogical) reason I have always been wary of the "designed by Edward Green" stamp, as if perhaps EG designed the shoe and had someone else make it . . . the writing inside also doesn't look like EGs typical style, but maybe they're just older . . .

Bespoke cleverley iguana/lizard skin made for Mr. Tony Gaziano (just to be clear, not cleverley for G&G, but cleverley bespoke for a guy named Tony Gaziano):

definitely shell, i've seen this model several times in person. they don't have the cheapish plasticky look aldens have.
