They are exactly what I was looking for, but unfortunately (and as I feared) a bit big. Trying to see if I can make them work with insoles.

What an artist dies in me.

He might have used D'artagnan's last words:

Athos, Porthos, au revoir! Aramis, a jamais, adieu!"

    Or Louis XIV:

"Why do you weep?" he asked: "did you think that I was
    immortal?" (Pourquoi pleurez-vous ? m'avez-vous cru immortel?)

Nero's last words- so that is the secret. And yeah, the translation seems to be variable, amorphous, and in general interesting.

That too. .... hmm. I wonder if a famous last words/death haiku thread would get traction.

The ones for Harrods? I'd buy them in a heartbeat if they were an 8. They would look awesome once cleaned up.

Size 8, huh? I'm in the same neighborhood. As a modern shoe size, it's not so common, but in vintage, 8 was the norm.

JM Weston mens shoes, 3 pair used American size 11 D/E. Shoes look nice, but no photos of soles. Currently at $233.60 with less than 2 days to go.

If this is real alligator leather, I think this would be a must-have for big time ballers. Wish I have something as cool as this. :slayer:

    No idea about Cheney though.

I don't think those are so likely to get snatched up quickly.

yeah I see that. Maybe within 24 hrs? Gator, suede, loafer is an unusual combo but they appear to be a great value
