Just came back home from Massive Attack concert in Saint-Petersburg...

What to say? I really have no words to describe it. Best concert I've ever been to. So stylish... no chatting, no attention to the guys playing... just flows of light and sounds that made me feel like I'm on ecstasy ))) Incredible. I'm stupidly happy [IMG] [IMG]

I read today that weezer is going to perform all of 'pinkerton' at select shows this fall. Fuck their new stuff, I really have no desire to hear it.
When I saw them, they didn't play a single track from pinkerton. If they announce they're going to play it anywhere near the Midwest I am there.

Same with Sufjan, he's supposed to be touring soon.

Other than those two, I'd have to drive 4 hours to see a band and Omaha and Denver just haven't had anything decent enough for that this month.

I saw them when they were in Sydney in March, a few days after my birthday [IMG]. Still get goosebumps when i think of the explosion of light & sound, at that moment when Angel really kicks in [IMG].

Might go to Osheaga this year. Line-up is alright I'd say. Will probably catch Eminem, Death Cab, and Bright Eyes.

I saw Passion Pit last year. I'd never heard them before I went to the show. I was really impressed. Cool stage set and light show, too.

    .

Missed them a couple weeks ago at a local club. Sounds like I didn't miss much.

    Last few shows:

Old 97's = first time seeing them- excellent live show and even played our request. Gotta like that.
Coheed and Cambria = Excellent live show.
Yes = First time seeing them- small outdoor venue. Steve Hackett is still amazing, even at 101 years old. Meanwhile, Chris Squire added 101 pounds.

I really like both acts but I have seen Death Cab 3 times and there is a bit of inconsistency with their shows. Bright Eyes would be an amazing opening act, every other opening act I have seen open for Death Cab has completely mailed in their performance, even bands I like (cold war kids comes to mind).
