    stock laces. outside look good. 30 - 40 wears at most. but the heel padding is somewhat destroyed as i wore them quite extensively with ankle socks. have put scotch tape to partially repair that

    What size should I get for the black shine derbies? I'm a 41 in the Achilles low.

    So someone here must have both Achilles and a Chukka. I am looking for a defintive answer as I wanna buy a pair Chukkas soon. I have the achilles in 40 in both low white and black mids. I am torn between sizing :(!

    And the chukkas are longer, but not wider than the achilies. A very odd fit IMO.

    I have 41 in suede lows, 42 in padded achilies, and 42 in the chukkas.

    However I should have bought the 41 in chukkas.

    That said, they would be better length wise in 41, but perhaps too tight in width.

    I also wear 8UK in most British shoes. 7.5UK in G width British shoes. And 9US in most sneakers.

    Thanks a lot for the responses. I think im gonna go 39 and pray they stretch.

    My achilles 40 have a little bit of room in the toe. Bothers me sorta.

    Anyone else have chukkas and can shed some light?

    I think the following is the consensus for CP sizing

    Common Projects size = US Size
    39=7US
    40=8US
    41=9US
    42=10US
    43=11US
    44=12US
    45=13US

    I am a 7US in most sneakers. tried a 40 which was too big, got a 39, fit was like a perfect size 7us for me.

    That was for the achilles

    i think its minus 1 for the us counterpart, ie. 44 is an 11

    But the size 44CP will then fit like a 12us and a person who is a size 11 wont be wanting to wear size 12 shoes.

    The sizes i listed had the adjustments factored in already

    ie

    that chart is only correct if your feet is narrow-normal.

    Easily fixed

    n.b: The two sizes listed next to each US size is what sizes you should really only be looking at. In general though you are most likely the size listed on the left.

    If you deviate a lot from that chart. Piss off no one needs your ****ed up feet confusing everyone else.

    Half sizers piss off too!

    lol jokes, seriously but, Im not expert on half sizer but from what I have seen you are better off rounding UP rather than rounding down. ie if you are a 8.5us you are better off going for the corresponding 9us size and if you are a 9.5us you are better off going for the 10us equivalents

    Blue Vintage Suede Lows are very tempting.

    Side Note:
    I have an extra pair of Black Achilles Low in size 40, brand new. If anyone's interested PM me.

    Do CP's go on sale often? Not sure if I should just wait it out. How much do they usually go for on sale?

    I've picked up some real bargains on CP's.

    It normally always includes buying from a European site (less VAT) and a discount.

    Even with just the VAT removed, they're a good deal (20%).

    So the major players like Tres Bien Shop get my business a lot.

    Bought a pair in my usual CP size, fit is fine, but leather at the vamp is super stiff and uncomfortable. Anybody else own these?

    I got the blue ones, don't have any issues in terms of comfort.
