Are these 'Clarks' brand? If so, where can i get these? The only grey i have seen are a different shade, and come with a dark colored sole.

They are clarks brand. Im not sure where you can find them because im not sure they make them any longer.

If you're struggling with finding a certain pair of Clarks go to your local Clarks store. They will order it for you.

I just went today. The associate didn't even know what the Desert Boot was and told me that she couldn't help me find it because she said they don't exist. Pretty ridiculous because I bought my dark brown suede db's there last December, of course with a different associate.

Can the lighter grey ones be ordered at a store or are they discontinued?

First of all - big thanks to Deluks917, as he acted as my proxy to get a pair of the grey suede desert boots I had been longing for.

They are fantastic. Lite, warm, comfortable - everything a casual boot should be. I'll be getting another two pair I think - wolf and beeswax. They are great with chino's or denim, which makes them very flexible.

At 130 Aussie dollars, I can't think of a better casual boot. These, a pair of old R.M Williams Craftsman and some Ultimate Indy's will be my wardrobe.

Maybe some Paul Stuart boots later.

Thanks for all your help with sizes and what not guys!

I'm loving mine so far. I have a pair in sand suede. They're beginning to get indigo stains from my jeans. I was thinking about cleaning them but I'm beginning to like them more dirty. I think next I will pick up a pair of grey suede.

For anyone considering the wolf suede, they darken up very quickly. I've worn mine about two days straight and they're breaking in nicely to a darker brown.

If I don't like them, I can send them back. The only thing I'm out is whatever it costs to ship them. Plus, I've seen pics of what I think I purchased.

re Itsmedeka: No, but this does make me want to ask--why no love for the lowly Trek? I know they're not trendy, but I have a pair in beeswax and always get complements on them. Anyone?

What's the consensus on wearing desert boots with shorts?

I like the look, but I'm worried it's a bit affected/ J Crew catalog. Thoughts?
