Sorry to tell you good shoe sales don't start until June the earliest. I don't know what's available at FB but I've never seen anything worth mentioning there. But if you want some shoe eye candies you should drop by John Lobb, Lattanzi, Berluti, BG, Kiton, Saks, Barneys, Jay Kos, Peter Elliot Soles, T&A....

And if you're not self-conscious about doing so, spend time getting fitted in different makes and lasts, so when these shoes show up on the 'bay, you'll be ready to pounce . . .

Any good places in NYC for deals on shoes, since C21 isn't great?

Making my first trip there tomorrow a.m., so appreciate any quick replies.

Filene's Basement on 6th avenue between 18th and 19th has a few pairs of Gravati. Decent shoes, but not a screaming deal. New York is not the best for shoes sales, in my opinion, at least not regular ones.

As someone who is NY based and has a certain affection for shoes, NYC stinks in this regard. At slae times you can do well but there are no discount outlets for serious shoes. Too bad you missed the Santoni feeding frenzy. I suggest saving you rmoney for Bennie's Grenson sale.

I agree 110%, New York is really horrible for shoe sales. For those of you living elsewhere, if you want a good shoe sale don't ever come knocking.

    Thanks everyone.

For eye candy, I'll be going to the Bergdorf Vass trunk shoe. Maybe Gabor will have another pair of almost-new shoes for me.
