I've always wondered…. is it better to have traction control on in the snow/ice even with a manual transmission?

my car is a FWD VW Jetta Sportwagen TDi with 6sp manual transmission.

I'd say it's probably wise to leave it on. You're not rallying or drifting (at least not on purpose) so providing more power in wheel slip situations would generally be a bad thing.

    Pulled from a VW forum:

A little over-styled for my liking, but another pair of homeruns for BMW:

    White leather :plain:

Unless the M3 comes in touring or the M4 is a lot more I don't see a reason to get the m3.

Neither feels special enough looking over their respective base cars to warrant anything other than "meh" from a style perspective. I am very interested in performance and hands on tests however.

I think the M3 looks great. The four doors really make the car a great all-rounder for performance and utility. I actually think it makes the M4 less desirable because if you're willing to get into the lower practicality of a 2-door coupe then cars like the GTR and 911 come into play (albeit a different price point)

Went a little overboard on the creases in the front and rear bumper/diffusers, I think.

Last gen's front air scoops/diffusers were juuust right of aggressive/sporty and still clean. New one is just one too many.

    agreed on those bumpers. terrible.

they are also getting too big. I'm still driving my E39 M5 and I want to downsize.

M4 rear reminds me of M6 . not a fan.
