AFAIK you could only get a 530 wagon in the States, no turbo models available. Yes the same lowly 3.0 liter motor that powered the 325, 328 and the 330. And yes they all have the same motor with different intake manifolds & software designed to strangle peak hp and torque (esp on the 325). 325 = 215hp, 328 = 230hp, 330 = 255hp

What do you all think of the new Range Rover Sport? At first I did not care for the redesign, but it's growing on me. I drive an LR4 now and absolutely love the traction and driving position but feel a sportier ride might be fun. The regular RR seems a bit large to me and now its tech is outdated!

(I'm waiting to see the BMW '14 X5's too.)

The new RRS hasn't been released yet, the regular RR has though.

Based on pictures alone, the RRS looks more homogenous than the RR.

I will deny every having said this, but that X6 actually looks pretty good.

my bad, saw the gif and did a lazy copy/paste, I guess I saw the M badge but didn't even think of the x6. would love to drive that ugly monster.

I've always been an audi fan and the A6 is topping the list for my next car, might not be for a minute but the 3.0t avant or 3.0t/4.2 sedan at the very top of my list. I'd do the a4 avant but Id like a little more power than the 2.0t and I dont feel like changing a turbo and that whole shitshow

I'm still not sold on the outside but I sat in one at the autoshow and I love the interior - a far better fit for me than the 3 & 5 sedan and more appealing design.

Right. The 535xi Wagon became available in the States in the 2008 model year.

The 530xi has 0-60 times around 7.3-7.6s wheras the blown 535xi was recorded at 5.4-5.6s. That is a LOT of power to give up between the two models.

yeah that 535Xi wagon would scream, relatively speaking. With just a bit of ECU education it'd be even faster. No need to go all out on it like the 335 guys do, but just giving it a tweak would make that car pretty incredible for so very little money, comparatively. So much more car than the 328Xi wag. I see these E61 wagons in M-sport trim in Tokyo all day, they were really popular, yet they were either 525i's (too little motor) or 550i's (too much motor) out here. the 535Xi is actually a great medium for that form factor.

Am I really the only one who thinks the X6 looks fantastic (rear-only)?

For the cost of an RRS I would get the redesigned for 2013 Mercedes GL.

I would love a new RR but now we're talking the AMG version of the GL. If one is going on costs, GL vs. RRS, and for me at least the GL wins on size and comfort. If I lived in the snow belt, or was into off roading with my luxury SUV, I might prize the RRS more. Then again I have it on good authority if I'm really worried about traction in the snow nothing can beat an Audi sedan.

That care is ridiculously beautiful. I didn't even know about it. Surprised people are not all over this post.

I saw one once at the Ralph Lauren Cars exhibition in Paris. It's incredible how spartan the interior is and how everything is raced focused on this car. An incredibly beautiful piece of engineering indeed.

See racing legend Walter Röhrl driving it around the track

    Two thoughts come to mind:

"looks like a riced out version of the first one, with ebay parts"
"this is a 2014 model Mercedes and it still has DOT orange blinkers...."

I hate orange blinkers. I have changed them out for clear ones within a week of owning every car I have ever owned
