Greenfrog, for what it's worth I drive a e46 330xi in a very hilly city. Straight city driving with the occasional quick acceleration results in 15-17mpg average. If I do a good mix I average 22-24. Freeway is 30mpg all day.

My MINI and STI. I'll grow out of boy racer-dom one day. Maybe.

I think if I were to have some kind of decent run around car in NYC, I'd like the Volvo C30. 6 speed manual with a Turbo i-5 that can be boosted easily up from 225 to 260 hp.

I really like the quirky rear hatch.

But if I were to REALLY get a city car, it'd be something like a 2005 Honda Civic 4 door or something equally ubiquitous that I wouldn't care too much when it gets dinged up. *sigh

e46 m3 community has to be the worst of all forums, they've turned a soon to be iconic model into a boy racer's wet dream

mod for the sake of mod, all aesthetic judgment out the window

    Tough crowd...

I put them in because I wanted LED signals. I was back and forth with them but I like how they look when lit up. The travesty! Don't worry, guys... you don't have to drive it.

If I get tired of them, the stocks ones are just on the shelf :violin:
