I feel you. I love the Uetam and the Simpson. If Simpson didn't fit me, not sure I would be a Carmina guy. It's the perfect last. Hopefully it works for you.

I took the plunge and got the other black captoe in 7.5 uk. It was meant to be; my size, my last, great pricing and gf encouraged me to get it. God am I lucky to have such a supporting person [IMG]

I just kopped the lucky last pair of these, in size 10 (normally I'm a 9.5 so there's a chance this will not work out for me).

US$455 plus shipping. Exquisite shoes. Here's hoping they're not way too large.

I'm in for this shoe in shell or calf. I have no interest in faux Russian calf (hatch-grain). Simpson last fits me perfectly. I like the looks of Rain; but, I'm thinking it might be too wide for me since it is EE width. Can they make Rain in an E-width?

I've handed it off to Steve over @ Gentlemen's Footwear. Scroll up and you can click through to his affiliate thread. Unfortunately I'm @ the other end, need the width of the rain.

This is the shortwing boot in saddle shell that Steve from Gentlemans footwear was talking about. I think this is pretty nutty.

This is on the forest last and we talked about dainite soles possibly.

If interested please PM myself or steveyoo1983

Agree. This is probably the nicest pair from Carmina that I own. Simple is best. You will not be disappointed

I think we should wait and see what Steve is going to do. He's got you and me asking for one thing on one last, a few asking for another on another last with other leather, etc. Let's see what Steve tallies up. Too bad there's no poll option.

There was exactly the same boot as a MTO last Autumn. 16 participants then, so 27 total on this jumper boot.

The original back in October was this one:

The recent MTO will be almost exactly the same but in a dark brown shell like this:

My only Carmina footwear: [IMG] However, still thinking about loafers... anyone have pics of shoes in natural calf color in real life?

Interesting, I just checked out that Yanko thread. Maybe if these Simpson captoes don't work for me I will give those a try.
That price is absolutely insane for brand new cordovan shoes. I hope they work out for you!

How would people feel about a green shell wingtip boot?
(Added 2 pics to try and capture the true color)
