Prett great situation today. Have an item listed for $150 BIN/OBO. Get an offer for $65. Counter with $130. He recountered for...$130.

"Sounds good to me." I accept his offer, send an invoice, thinking he'd made a typo and will beg off or just not pay, but 20 mins later it comes through. Thanks very much, now I'm loving life.

[IMG] Someone countered an offer I had at a higher price, I accepted and he paid... weird ebay buyers sometimes.

Nah...I don't feel bad at all.

When I consider that all of the "cities" it thrift in (Harrisburg, Baltimore, York, Hanover and Lancaster) total about 800,000 people. I'm doing pretty well considering NYC is around 8.25 Million.

When I get my "Ferrari" I will feel even better.

Sigh. I was afraid of that. Back to my day job I guess - that's hard enough.

Mine is close to the same

    65% hard work
    10% dedication
    5% coffee and cigarettes
    5% whiskey
5% waking up at 6am and going to bed at 1am
    5% competitive spirit
2% tendonitis (damn packing tape guns)
1% sweat (knew i should have put central AC ducts in the office) Don't bother....it is futile when surrounded by so much wool.
1% cursing (goddamn it why is there a case open and my response is required)

And the missing 1%....just because you love it.

Well, you're frickin' rockin' it, as we all know. Flip those percentages but keep the wording in place and it's the secret to my lack of success on eBay...though I did a test run back in January where I devoted about 50 hard hours that month and netted what I do at my job for the entire month, so I think I could survive on flipping if I had to. Which would be the motivation behind the work.

So cleverley guy never shipped back shoes. Is PayPal good now for me? Or can he open another case? Or is it just chargeback now?

    Funds already refunded

How was it refunded if he never shipped them back? He should have to provide proof of return shipping. He won't be able to reopen a case through Paypal, but chargeback would still be posible.
