@ManofKent Noted your Cro' Jack item in recent WAYWT fit (I always enjoy your photos, by the way). Went to look at the website and I'm uncertain what to make of it.

I guess it must be sale season, but £30 for a coat (looking at the Hawke specifically)?

    Am I missing something?

Are the items made in the UK? How have you found the fit and construction?

I may take a flyer, since even with shipping that's as much as the coat, it's not too bad.

Anyone else have thoughts on Cro' Jack?

don't own any crojack but i've handled it, and for that price it's a no-brainer. seemed comparable to the oliver spencer stuff i have.

Thanks. I'm a big fan of the few Oliver Spencer items I have, so that's encouraging.

Any idea if it is made in the UK or overseas?

@FrankCowperwood All made in Wolverhampton. Fabrics are sourced from different places, but they tend to be decent.

Quality is pretty similar to Oliver Spencer, on some garments I'd say Cro'Jack have the edge. At the sale prices you can't go wrong. Cuts vary a bit, but sizing is pretty standard.

If they ever get a decent photographer/stylist for their web site and learn about marketing they could be quite popular :)

As far as I can tell Cro'Jack are selling up. They closed the small shop in London sometime before August (I stopped by looking for them) and the only activity appears to be lowering the prices of remaining stock into the ground. They're decent quality though, and most if not all is made in the UK. Definitely bargains to be had at the prices they're at now. Looks like the best stuff went a while back though.

Hmmm... OK. Appreciate both your thoughts.

I may give the Hawke in the fawn color a try.

Also very tempted to Give Old Town a try.

Unity jacket and stove pipe trousers both look good to me.

Norfolk slop looks nice. Not sure I live hard enough and have the patience for it to end up looking as good as it does in the worn-in photos.

I am a huge fan of British brands!

Does anyone know of any good brands which produce quality leather accessories? I am looking for a new wallet which has the hallmark of 'Made in England' - my old man says they are the ones to look out for!

    Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

I had a quick browse of their site and while the royal warrant is definitely a plus. But i'm not a fan of their styles, a bit on the boring/plain side for my liking.

Do you have any other suggestions?

    Check out http://www.dukesbury.com

I ordered a bespoke wallet and was extremely impressed. It can get a little pricey, but the quality of the work is priceless.

Customer service made the entire production process a pleasure. I can post pictures later if you want. I'd suggest browsing their instagram and website.

Although I know business has picked up for them, so I'm not sure what the turnaround would be.

I've seen that advertised on the affiliate thread last month!

It is definitely impressive quality of work on both the website and Instagram account. Everything is completely handmade, right? If you can post some pictures that would be great! How long did your bespoke wallet take to make and get to you?

Yes, everything is hand done. This includes every step of the manufacturing process: cutting, stitching, etc,

My wallet, which is sadly currently at home and not with me at college, took around a week to get to me.

This was also in June, but since then I'm pretty sure business has picked up for them, so I'm assuming the turnaround time will be longer.

While I can't take any more pictures of the chevre wallet (due to me not having it on campus), I can post pictures of an alligator card case I have that they also made.

Here are some pictures of the wallet from the manufacturing process:

I'll try to snap some detailed pics of the alligator card case when I have some free time.

This looks like amazing work! He/She looks like a highly skilled craftsman/craftsperson (not sure what you would call it?)

Yeah when you get time that would be fantatic to see!

Thank you for your time in any case!

And also, a week is pretty good! Do you own any wallets or cardholders or anything like that from any other brands?

Is that the best one that you reckon you possess?

I'm just loving the mastery that's on show!

I'm just really reaching the point in life (I'm 19) where I have the funds to splurge here and there on whatever catches my eye, hence ordering this wallet.

So to answer your question, besides a plastic-feeling cardholder from Coach, I have not owned any other name brand wallets/ cardholders.

No it's not! I found a brand online called Vertstone who specialise in small accessories. Really happy! [IMG]
