Oh I see. I missed that while reading. But sewing in your own zipper section to a regular bag would not be all that hard.

Or get an regular laptop bag with no zipper pouch but get a zippable laptop sleeve. That way you can secure the laptop without any problems. (You may have to attach the sleeve to the bag but that should be as simple as a few drops of barge rubber cement)

It sounds to me like you need a hardshell briefcase and not a bag...

Its an interesting juxtaposition of the traditional and modern, assuming its real carbon fibre anyway, rather naff if not. Not my own taste but interesting none the less

^_unfortunately not. Moynat only sells at their own stores in Paris and now London. They will ship to the U.S., but there is nowhere in ny to see the products first.

According to this article, you may have just missed your chance, at this popup shop in NY . But you might want to follow up to see if it happened, and if so, if it's already closed.

A forum member was interested last week in the Louis Vuitton Vassilli PM Epi, but not in the $3300 price tag.

Moore & Giles Wynn-mailbag has flap and zipper. They make good-quality bags, as I can attest from personal and family experience. Not likely to be confused w anything French.

I stumbled across a site called louisvigtonoutletclearancestore.com. . It seems too good to be true so it probably is.

There's dozens of these scam sites for any designer brand you can think of. Although I wouldn't be shocked if they'd sell you a genuine Louis Vigton.
