I have two navy blazers, one from Arny's and one by Samuelsohn that I'm pleased with, here's the problem . . .

    A) I've gained a bit of weight in the past year

    B) I travel alot, and since the navy blazer is my staple, my current two (well the one that still fits me maybe . . .) are taking a beating.

So I'd like to pick up a half way decent new blazer, but as I'm planning on losing the weight (I know, I know), and furthermore planning on subjecting to a lot of travel and wear, I don't want to spend much.

My question is therefore "Where are the biggest blazer bargains out there right now?" Bonus points if it's double vented or 3-button, or a "travel" or harder finish type of fabric. Thanks.

What size do you want? That way if one of us sees a great deal in your size we can let you know.

Try joseph bank. www.josbank.com They are having their real close out (they do have quite a few not so final sales).  They list a signature line 3 button wool/cashmere blazer available in 46L for $79. They also have several others in different cloths some from $79 to $143 .   The signature line is pretty good.  I buy the signature short rise pants all the time and have been quite pleased.  I don't know anything personally about their blazers.    Pat Tolbert, who posts here and on Ask Andy works at their Waco store .  He is quiet knowledgeable in men's wear and not just what he sells .  He is quite objective about  workmanship and value and knows what a samuelson is.  I have called the Waco store and ordered  from him.  He gave me the better price of in store vs online.     I recommend you first look at the web site and the call Pat. 254-662-9298 If they have something that will fit what you are looking for he will tell you and I'm sure if they do not have what you are looking for he will tell you that.     Good luck on taking the weight off, its worth it.
