I own this vest. Unfortunately, I can't pull off the look quite as well... [IMG]

True. But they were the original - well, the original publicizers anyway.

Jude Law easily dresses as well or better than anyone, certainly better than any businessman or news anchor dead or alive. Hedi Slimane has an extremely cool personal style as well. Pharrel has good style.

I tentatively vote for actors, but I reserve the final submission of my vote until I know who works with a stylist and who does not. I'd hope I'd look pretty good, too, if I had a person fussing about how I looked before I went out for coffee.

That would get old very, very quickly.

    Andre 3000,
Is he really a GOOD dresser? Far out and bizarre for sure... but good? All he does his mix and mash. Influences from different time periods, clashing patterns, rainbow color palette. All in one outfit. He's an ATLien from outer space. I get it. But I'm not giving him a pass when his style is nonsensical and mostly hurts my eyes. I appreciate the uniqueness, but don't believe he deserves much praise either.

Most are well dressed but I would say that businessmen are dressed up more often then others. Actors usualy are but most i've seen on tv and such are way too casual then they should be and I even saw a picture of our president without a tie or jacket.

God, I love your posts. They never make any damn sense.

Totally concurred. I just don't get the praise heaped on this guy - a black musician dressing with trad/prep influences. Miles Davis et al influenced thousands of English mods fifty years ago doing the same thing, its not exactly ground breaking.

I think Clooney almost always gets it right. Especially at black Tie events but he manages to also make open collar shirts look the right balance between dressed and casual where almost everyone else who does this just looks sloppy.

Sorry to naysay, but is George Clooney really that well dressed, or is he just handsome and we just confuse that for being well dressed? He's certainly not poorly dressed, which unfortunately goes a long way.

Also, people have strong opinions on Andre3000, and while not everyone can assert that he is well dressed, no one can deny that the man has style.

Now onto the (IMO) best dressed:
    Ralph Lauren
Bryant Gumbel (just watch a couple episodes of Real Sports and you'll see)
    The Ovadia Brothers
    George Hamilton
    Fonzworth Bentley
    Scott Disick (despite overall turdliness)
    Tom Ford
    Robert Downey, Jr.

Brad Pitt is a friggin schlub with his risible chin pubes. I've seen him roll up to black tie events with an open collar folded outside his jacket collar like Saturday Night Fever, the slovenly sloppy twat.
