Does anyone know if it is possible to order casual (non-motorcycle) belstaff jackets on-line somewhere? I cannot seem to find them locally anywhere.

If you know the model number and size (and color) I can take a look for you. I know at least two places in Boston with some pretty obscure Belstaff stuff.

What a gracious offer, thank you! But, I am not familiar enough with models yet. I guess I may be best off waiting until I can find them in person. The problem is I am in San Diego, so Boston and NY are out for me for awhile. Maybe I could find them in LA somewhere.

    j. crew is just about the only major US retailer who carries any "non motorbike" belstaff products. i must say.. the jackets they carry are really quite nice. i own a barbour international jacket as well as a belstaff tourist trophy. my belstaff is their replica of the original trialmaster but it is aimed at the motorcycle market. this being said, while i was in the market for buying a belstaff i went and tried on 4 different jackets at j. crew and loved them all but ultimately decided to go with the tourist trophy. my main reasons for purchasing the tourist trophy over the more 'style oriented' counterpart was that i ride a motorcycle. or did anyway. a 2008 triumph bonneville black. not that anyone cares.
    i wrecked.
i was riding across states at night and hit a deer at 75mph, and i was wearing my belstaff. coming from my ER physician and being in medschool i know that i would still be having skin grafts if it werent for the quality of my jacket.
the EMT guys said they always see guys in leather jackets that are torn to pieces.. but mine was made of waxed cotton and barely had any damage at all. just looks even more bad ass now.
my accident happened on aug 15th of this year... i was discharged from the ER 4 hours later and limped out.
my belstaff is now the center of my fall/winter wardrobe. it has some scrapes and some spots where it doesnt have as much 'shine' but its all part of the "steve mcqueen patina" as my wife calls it, and i love it.
you wont regret getting any belstaff. just get one.
it will last you a lifetime, contrary to what people say... the italians make just as good of a coat as the brits.
    i should know.

    good luck.
