I like shorts on 40 degree days.

Can you guys recommend me some good political documentaries for the holidays? so far I've seen:

    - Inequality for All
    - Keating: the Interviews
    - The Liberals in Power
    - Labor in Power
    - Mad Dog: Inside the Secret World of Muammar Gadaffi
    - Howard Years
    - Whitlam: the Power and the Passion
    - Blair: the Inside Story
    - Labour: the Wilderness Years
    - Untold History of the United States
    - Casino Jack and the United States of Money
    - Masters of Money

    On order:
*Boogie Man: the Lee Atwater Story

The current thing on the Country Party /Nationals is much better than I expected.

I'd give it rest and watch some stuff that stands multiple viewings and is uplifting or has clothes or both

    Ghostbusters
Vacation - the Wally World one
    Naked Gun
    The Producers

    Clothes:
    North By Northwest
    Bande à part
    Breakfast at Tiffanys
    The Graduate
    Psycho
    To Catch a Thief
Dirty Harry - also about politics
    The Thomas Crown Affair
    Bullitt

    And
Mad Dogs and Englishmen - up loud - just to see the genius that is Leon Russell who put it together and was in charge of music arrangements.

You're kidding right? It practically skipped right over JBP and his little nighttime renovations - not to mention had tofts like Ron Boswell and Tim Fischer decked out in akubras and moleskins as if they were actually from the country.

All that documentary proves is how close we became to being South Africa. The sooner the Nationals are relegated to the history books the better.

I'm not really in a movie mood.

    Farewell, Aunty fxh
    We know you'll be back.
    Though you're ten feet tall
You don't scare us at all.
    You're big, bold and tough,
    But you're not so rough.
There's a scream as you plummet away.

@LonerMatt , how should Madras shirts be worn with shorts? Tucked, or untucked?

^Untucked, because you're wearing it in summer so you don't have to worry about the "tucked/untucked under a jumper" quandary.

Looking great PoP, as usual. A few small nits to pick- I think you'd look better with a button down collar and really, that belt doesn't match the shoes.

Firmin, I'll come around and rip yer bloody arms off.

Or send my baby brother around to ambush you at the shops and flog you with a used wet How To Vote Greens card.

Is that another way of saying the drapes don't match the carpet?
