Great. I did find Cotechino at the butcher on Lygon Street near Elgin - is it Romano's, or Romeo's or something? A Sydney source would be great.

    Which town would that be?

I know that in the fullness of time, when all the facts come to light and the legal process has concluded that all the slurs, accusations and charges will be proved false.

At least, that's what Oli says to me.

Don't know of anywhere that will do a sponge/press (my suits don't really justify it!) although perhaps calling a few tailors might lead you in the right direction.

For suits I only use Blue & White in Crows Nest and 20/20 in Mosman. Avoid anywhere in the CBD, they're sadistic and cruel to your clothes.

I really only use Blue & White these days (they do valet so it's too easy, don't need to worry about finding a park, plus they're all of 3-5 minutes drive away), and I've always found them to be "gentle" on clothes when it comes to the chemicals. Never had a problem with buttons either.

    Congratulations, a very noble profession!

I'm one of the finance types - stockbroker/investment adviser. I promise I'm a much better human being than the media would make out.

G'day gents.... I'm a fellow forumite (well duh) from Toronto (that's way over in Canada, the land up-above) and I just arrived in Sydney about a week ago and know about 3 people, 2 of which include the nice lady at the bank and the Optus sales rep, so I'm here for at least a few months doing a bit of traveling and working and would love to meet up with some of the locals for a drink and a chat.

You guys want to see if we can coordinate a meetup one evening in the next couple of weeks? I'll take location and day recommendations from y'all since it's your town and all.

    Who's up for it?

I'm in Melbourne from 5th-15th Jan, maybe we could organise another GTG. What's that last place we met at (GF, GN, CD etc), upstairs one floor on Swanston St, just down from Lonsdale? That was pretty cool. Or the place on Spring St, um, the European or something.

OK I'm back in Sydney from 16-25 Jan. I'm not aware of there ever having been a proper Sydney StyFo GTG. Maybe Fratelli Fresh on Macquarie St? Or the O Bar up top of Australia Square tower?

Did Father Christmas accidentantly deliver my B&T fresco suit to them by mistake?

You ordered a suit from B'n'Tailor?

Be sure to post pics when it arrives.

@Coxsackie - did you every post pics of your B&T suit?

    Yes, let's!

I think the only one I've been to with you attending (and, well, ah, the only one total) was at the Spring Street place opposite State Parliament.

Any ideas of a cool place to hang? I'm exceptionally out of the loop but can book if needs be.

Who else would like to come? Evening of the 13th/14th?
