Ok so i'm pretty new to higher end suits and the like and was wondering what people look for in a suit and how they go about judging a suits quality. Sorry if this has been asked before i did a search and didn't come up with anything.

    thanks
    Nik

Drizzt is right--there's much to know.

The basics for me are the reputation of the maker, feel of the fabric, quality of workmanship, fit, and cut.

    For me, I look for:

    1. Canvase front, and lapels
    2. Fit on shoulder and chest.
    3. Fabric quality
