I'm no expert but I would say speed up to some degree. I treat mine like a pair of raw denim jeans. Obviously the more you wash it the more indigo you will loose out of the jacket, meaning it will lighten up quicker.

I'd wear it for a solid few months before washing. I'm going to give mine a good 6-8 months before a soak. Then probably leave it for that duration again.

Anybody have a Waxed French Jacket?

The sizing chart makes these things sound huge. What's your experience with the Waxed French and sizing?

Sure! Please excuse my face and posture, I have no idea what I'm doing.

BTW, sorry for the lateness. Here it is with some Rogue Territory.

I have it. It's pretty light and good for layering. Fabric is a little scratchy so I don't like wearing it with short sleeves but can still manage. I don't have any other chores to compare it to though.

I returned mine. In part because I sized up when I shouldn't have. I plan on picking up an indigo eventually. I just wasn't digging the linen.

I have the indigo stripe chore in M. Would I be the same size in the linen?

I have an indigo chore coat in a size L, purchased about 5 years ago but used for one season, awesome condition (except two buttons missing, I blame Apolis). Interest check here before posting on B&S

Can someone please comment on how the button down shirts fit? Specifically the Japanese Chambray button down in grey. Do you need to size up or down, or are they regular fitting? The size charts make them seem a bit slim and short in length. Thanks in.

Our shop manager Danny says the linen runs slimmer/smaller, so he usually suggest sizing up one size (example: your Medium indigo strip chore would translate into a Large in the linen). Thanks for asking!
