I'm wearing Chelseas. But if they had buckles they would be buckled. Maybe I'll wear some monks tomorrow just so I can buckle them

in the recent heat wave here, though, for the trek home, I would un-knot my tie, open by shirt collar, unbutton my cuffs, and carry my jacket. I didn't consider it sprezz but survival.

I don't recognize anyone posting in MW any more. My collar is open but my jacket is on and cuffs are closed. Then again a London heat wave is not a NY heat wave.

Last week was miserably hot. This week has been unseasonably mild.

I can't be bothered to loosen my collar or tie when it gets hot. By the time I realize an adjustment would be beneficial, I'm already too hot and lethargic to make the move. Plus, everything is likely to be stuck in place at that point.

Now my parents are bothering me about why I don't ever buy some nice yellow furniture.

They're just worried that the white furniture won't take well to soy sauce.

It's okay. I just want to know whether to brush up on orcs and elves, or the repressed memories of my own dehumanization.

What are you smoking? Asians are almost exclusively ConTrad. Except for real Asians. They sleep on the floor and use paper for walls.
