What are you solutions for remote control storage? I'd like them both hidden away, yet convenient to access. Whatever is holding them had better be good looking.

"I do not watch television," is not a valid answer.

In a drawer in my end table.

Okay, we clearly were not smart enough to pick a side table with a drawer or built-in storage. So, good thought, but the train has already left the station.

Next, please.

My son likes to hide remotes. When we were in CA in april he hid my mother's remote and she didn't find it until two weeks after we left.

Why do you need them hidden away? Can't you line them up neatly on your coffee table? Maybe even stencil outlines of the remotes on the coffee table (use something that can be changed, like colorforms type vinyl) to serve as remote "docks" or parking spaces. THat will be making a statement about the purposefulness of having your remotes on the table.
Is your TV hidden?

My father just bought an 80" TV and had this insanely beautiful bookcase built around it and such. While it looks impressive I have issues when somebody's family room, or living room has a television as the focal point of the room. Mind you my father already has a home theater setup in the basement with theater chairs and all of that nonsense.

I want one of those flatscreens that looks like a large mirror when turned off.

Well, the good thing about my father's set up is that the bookcase slides over to hide the TV and the entire wall looks like a library.
