It could be a great idea to do a list with all the meccariello last with a pictures and a short description. Because it's not always very clear and i think it can simplify things for everybody.

Maybe T4phage could do that ?

Looks like 19040: [IMG] He has quite a lot of lasts for his standard range, many who was developed when he worked for Kiton. Check the first page of the thread, many of the pics there are having the last nr. in the picture, like this one above.

We are most likely going to Italy in the spring and I've convinced the girlfriend to make the pilgrimage with me to visit Antonio!

Anyone know which leather this museum brown pair is made from?

I'm also interested in this one:

Cheers, gents. Happy holidays to you and yours.

I believe they are not museum leather but rather hand colored leather. The first image is a test shoe (and therefore it can't be museum leather)

Why would you need Museum calf when you can have Antonio antique the shoes for you?

To answer the question that is his "chiseled" Aurum last, which is the actual name of the last.

I have a pair in that last and I like it very much. It takers a narrow welt or thick welt very well, so I'd suggest you specify which one you want when you go for it.

Missed these before, absolutely stunning both of them, congrats!

Do you talk about Europreps question? Cause I don't think that it looks like the Aurum chiseled last, the last in Europreps pic is more elongated, the Aurum chiseled is shorter with a more curved outer ball area and steeper instep. Also the pic seems to be from before the "Aurum era".

Yes that is what I referring to.

In the picture Antonio labels them model Quintus and on his tumblr he has Quintus as "Chiselled".

Ok, but the shoe below is from 2012 or before (posted on the first page of this thread), so before he had developed his Aurum lasts, so can't be that, and definitely don't look like Aurum chiseled to me. The model he calls Quintus for his Aurum collection looks like this which is a different model, and the model Quintus can be made up on any last.
Still thinks it looks like the 19040 last, but easiest way is of course for Europrep to ask Antonio directly.

You are right :). I got confused between which leather question and which last question! My mistake.

The straight vertical lines of the scales on the ankle makes it seem like he could almost do a gusset sided chelsea boot - with the elastic running in between the scales.

That's not the plan is it, as far as you know? How ridiculously awesome would that be?

M and Maftei might be the two nicest bespoke makers I've ever seen. Haven't had the pleasure yet of handling either product, but just...wow. Amazing craftsman. And he's under 45, no?

Particularly love the gator. Looks much more durable than say lizard.

Great shoes, gents. Happy New Year!

People should know that Antonio has some smart ways of avoiding customs/duties.

I paid no customs fees or duties for my two pairs of shoes.

If you are ordering from him, ask him for more info.

Just commissioned my first pair from Antonio. Managed to sneak the order in before the price increase for the new year. It's an Aurum shoe, cap-toe adelaide (I believe the model is called 'Romulus' on his Tumblr) on the Aurum chisel last, no broguing, black pebble grain Annonay leather. Can't wait :)
