I don't think so. The shoe will be much wider.

I bought the Basic Dress in Merlot. Matches well. Nice belt, but I'm worried the darker finish might wear off. Maybe we should post belt pics?

Pictures would be great! Merlot, I didn't think of it. I even read of instances of people using black belts.

I bought the Sheridan to go with my oxblood Warwicks...it's on sale right now for the anniversary sale. Super nice belt and I think it might be the only oxblood belt sold by AE currently...

Just leave them there to admire... I haven't packed away mine yet either, but it helps that the weather is still slightly boot weather here in the midwest :)

These were my first AE shoes I bought and I was hooked at that point... Great shoe with jeans, especially with the blue laces IMO! [IMG]

You could probably darken the right one with some leather honey or obenauf's.

Basic dress in Merlot and Chili, Bourbon Manistee, and Oxblood Dalton's.

Merlot matches the heavily burnished areas the best. Bourbon Manistee may need to go back. I don't think my Bourbon Daltons will be that dark.

I picked up a pair of walnut strands in 10.5E. They fit the best of the ones in the store, but they are about 1/4" too long and fit a little loose around my ankle. I have to lace them pretty tight to get a snug fit.

Would tounge pads or a sole pad help enough, or do I need to find a different size?

Would you post some pics please?

In the first pic the merlot looked a bit brown, however it could just be my screen. In the 2nd pic the merlot looks pretty close to matching.

Different size. Try 10 E. That said, the 5 last might just not be right for your foot.

If the laces close all the way, they're too large on you. There should be at least a small "v" gap in the lacing when they're new.

There should be about 1/4" allowance on the toe area. Did you try 10.5 D?

PSA: Walnut Shell Cordovan Daltons in 8.5 E on the shoebank.

Not sure if these are the original Walnut shell or mislabeled Natural shell... I know we've seen a few pairs come and go, not sure if these might be returns?

The pics do look brown, but there is plenty of red in real life.

Considering it's been quite some time since they offered the Dalton in walnut shell, I'm guessing they're the seconds of a Dalton in natural shell from the trunk show.

@FreedBird might know, since he seems to have the inside scoop on this stuff.

Brooks Brothers shoes are showing up on the Shoebank. At least in 11D.

It just doesn't wear as well. It will get ground down before the combination tap sole will.
