First of all, weren't "no homo" a Cam'ron thing before it was an SNL thing?

Second of all, I have suede McGraws, and they fit weirdly. Long-ish and narrow. But I like how the last looks, and for what I paid ($130 for brown suede seconds), I'll settle for a heel pad.

I'd heard good things about Bick4 so decided to give it a try on some boots. I'm lazy so I like this as it's easy to apply and seems to condition leather better than either Reno or VSC, but those are early first impressions. It also leaves less of an oily residue compared to Reno or VSC, but that could be because of less wax content.

Waxy brown Long Branches that I had zippers installed on (horrors!) and burnished chili Daltons:

Walnut calf and walnut shell Daltons (I used VSC on the shell Daltons)

Hey @owl06, I just wanted to mention DWFII, a bespoke bootmaker, chimed in on this issue in the Vass thread and recommended 3/8-1/2" gap when new. Here's the link if you didn't see it: http://www.styleforum.net/t/130044/the-ultimate-vass-footwear-porn-thread/13740_30#post_7653259 In any case, I think your gaps are a fit issue and not a shoe quality issue.

Thanks @Fred G. Unn . I called up the CAC and spoke with a great customer service rep about my situation and had two shoes of different sizes and lace style sent out. I'll update once I get them in.

As for the comments regarding the shoe being too narrow, the pictures I posted were of 12C wearing thin socks. The neumoks also pictured are 12D and in those same thin socks my feet are swimming in there. Going any wider to get that lacing closer just isn't going to be an option Im afraid. So i went longer to see if its going to work out with the closed lacing. I'll update when they arrive.

OMG, I'm dying laughing right now! People have said I sort of have a twisted Andy Kaufman sense of humor but wow, never expected this. You know I knew this was from SNL, right? I was completely messing with you guys. I almost feel bad about it, I have had so many people quoting me and everything....ok enough already. Let's get back to the Warwick pics.

FYI - I was the one who wrote the review of the gray McTavish "The Zombie McAllister Returns". I try my best - still somewhat surprised they published that.

I haven't. The stores inventories are frozen so he can't order it in. And that's the route I usually go. It'll probably be to big anyways. Seems most go a 1/2 size down.

If you live close to an AE you could try the Addison for fit. Should be relatively close in feel.

Maiden voyage of my shell Westchester seconds. They were apparently a display model so the left and right shoe are a little off in color, but nothing some time won't change. No other flaws I can find with these. Not a fan of loafers, but I figured this would be good for a wedding/rehearsal dinner I have to go to in Hawaii later this year. They are growing on me.

Quote:Yea I thought about it. And I might call and see if ones available. Unless you can check the Atlanta stores and see if their's one in a 12, or 11.5. I don't think they're open yet.

Mine definitely aren't. There's no way that these are natural. [IMG] And here's the seconds issue that luckily doesn't make its presence known when wearing them... [IMG]

If that's the only issue then congrats! I wear my heels hard when I walk, so many of my insoles end up looking like that eventually.

Those look great. I dig variations in shell. I'm gonna try to wear some full strap loafers with a suit one day. Ok, perhaps with a suit sans tie.

Wow. You aren't kidding. Is that a pretty true representation of the color. In theory those are natural. Seems to be a broad spectrum though.

These are mine in an indoor light.

Got in the AE dress pants as well and was trying them on. Pretty impressed with the fit and cut on them. I have athletic thighs and slim pants just don't work. These I only notice when sitting and it isn't to bad. Could bring the hem up slightly but that's just a prederence. Hand feels great. Pretty solid for $80.
