My issue is that I have a relatively high instep. Regardless of last 11E's are the best way to go every time. 11.5D is a bit too tight for me - tolerable but tight.

I hear you, Pepper. Fwiw, they are pretty wide, perhaps more so than Alden's Barrie last.

Got a pair of cordovan Stand seconds in. Would this be a deal breaker for anyone?

Firsts - yes. Seconds - no way. Totally acceptable.

This "outfit" is far more casual than normal for the watch, but I hadn't worn it in a while and wanted to get down.

Ordered a pair in 12 as that is the largest they had, have been curious to try a pair of wolverines if they fit that is awesome if not would imagine I can recoup most of the purchase price.

    Oh and thanks you enabler

What's the sizing on these bad boys like? I'm 8e on 5 last. Would the 7.5 fit?

And by this, of course, I meant the opposite :) Yes, I'd keep them as seconds. I would return them as firsts.

Always happy to help you part with some cash [IMG]. In my experience, they fit similar to the Barrie last (i.e. size 1/2 size down from your true size) but I find them ever roomier than Barrie, probably similar to the Truebalance.

Thanks to @ReppTiePrepster, and the rational advice he gave me, but this just happened
