This was an MTO I did a few months ago. You don't like it?

I'd be curious to know how many of those AE actually sold.

Well, lets look at this realistically. If you consider that most men are content to wear box shaped, bike toed, glue jobs. I can see how such men would consider this boot an upgrade, or even fashionable.

IMO the biggest atrocities in the shoe world are credited to Prada, which i will abstain from posting here, at risk of causing sudden burning blindness...

They need a few rubes to pad their margins so we can keep getting great deals on MTOs

So, yesterday I purchased a pair of Park Avenues. I wear a 10.5 in Strand, so I assumed that a 10.5 in Park Avenue would fit the same, since they are on the same last.

Alas, I have to return them. The left shoe feels tight around the arch of my foot, and the top of the right shoe rubbed at the top right portion of my foot, seeming to indicate that it was too large. Seriously, one felt too small and the other too large?

Anyone have any input on this? My Strands feel great, and felt great out of the box. The Park Avenues felt very wrong out of the box.

Looks like OptoDoc will not have to give out any free exams....

Personally I think AE should take every MTO that bl@ster has ever done and put it into mainstream production under a new line named the Bl@ster collection and charge a premium. They would have to assign additional workforce to it just to stay up with demand.

    100% this!!

I enjoy all of Bl@sters makeups, I especially love the grain jeffersons and the brown cordovan promontory.

PARTICULARLY the brown cordovan prommies - seeing as I'm the proud owner of the first rejected pair he got (wrong welt colour and insole type - great for me)! [IMG]

I've gotten a pair of first quality before and one shoe was bigger than the other. It felt strange the first time putting them on so i try to compare them sole to sole and the right shoe was visually bigger than the left.

My point is that these are made by human and there will be errors. I would suggest to try on another pair in the same size to see if that resolved your sizing issue.
