That's helpful. I'm going to try the tongue pad. If that doesn't work than I'm going to return and try the Patriot. I would be all over it but I really want walnut and that isn't offered (at least I don't see it on the site). Also, that combination tap sole looks pretty awesome.

*edit* I see the Westchester is offered in Walnut. Not sure on the 7 last but I could give that a shot as well.
I tried toungue and heel pads with mine. I really wanted to be able to wear the shoes, but I destroyed my feet with all of the rubbing of the shoe on my heel, so I ditched them.

I just got in touch with the Freeport outlet and they gave me a really bad, bad news.

The Leeds will be 15% off during our Memorial Day Sale! Sale starts on the 13th!

449-15 % = 381.65.
I am officially in trouble.
Lasalles are $129 for memorial pricing but they honored it today to ensure I get a pair. Amok selling for $99 but she is able to give me extra 15% off.
Shell burgundy Leeds on their way.
AE stores are honoring Memorial Sale discounts already.
I HATE YOU GUYS!

Does anyone have any more specifics on the Memorial Day Sale? Are all shoes 15% off? Just seconds? Does it apply to closeouts?

Kristle and Kesley from J'Ville outlet were a big help. Just ordered tan pair of Amok for $85, brown pair of LaSalle for $129 and grey pair of Long Brancj for $159. I'd say I got a deal.
Next on the list: black Rutledge, walnut Franciscan, and black Westchester.
Add these to my bourbon Strands and Black Mctavish and my AE collection is well on its way
They gave you the sale prices already?

I have the kenilworth, in the same size as my 5th aves (both 5-last), but the kenilworth feels noticeably bigger/longer...I believe this is a pretty common observation with the kenilworth vs. the PA/5A/Strands (I wish I had known sooner).

I've already worn the kenilworth out a few times scratching the leather sole, so an exchange/return is probably out of the question. I was hoping/optimistic it would somehow fit me better eventually. You guys have any advice on what I can possibly do? My last resort would be to ebay them at a loss =/

If you bought them from AE retail, AE outlet, or Nordstrom, you can return them to where you bought them for a better fitting size despite the scuffed soles. If you bought them from some other retailer, I would check with them.

Nordstrom replaced my Strands after seven months of wear so that I could get a better size (which I never would have attempted but for advice from this forum!)

Best of luck.

So this sale is for all the Outlets correct or just Jeffersonville?

I was looking at the details of this sale (thank you bucksfan and kentyman) and boy, it's a killer..

AE is definitely trying to capitalize on current inventory for the approaching fiscal year end.

Do you guys think it actually means something (corporate) or is it standard practice at this time of the year?
