Agree about the general, but I wear 8UK or 7.5UK in different lasts in both C&J and AS. I am an 8.5US on the brannock.

Searched this thread and google and instagram but still coming up short ... I'm looking for more action shots of Hannovers.

Looking for a casual boot for jeans and flannels, etc. and the Hannovers are at the top of my list. Would like to see more angles of how this boot looks with slim-ish pants (most of my jeans and trousers are a 7" leg opening).

Post your pics if you have 'em!

    Thanks!!

Here are mine. Also from AFPOS. Can't beat them.

I have since replaced the laces. The ones from the shoes got worn pretty easily. I went with something with a higher density and more synthetic feeling yarn, but still dark brown.

Picked up a pair myself. I only have one other pair of AS but compared to other shoes in the same size I have, I'd say its pretty tight, especially around the heels. They are still comfortable and I imagine since there isn't much going on on the toe that they might stretch out a bit more.

I think mine will stretch enough in the width to be comfortable, I was just surprised they fit so differently than my other boots on the same last.

The conversion is not always US D = UK F for their footwear. I have spoken to poeple from AS that confirmed that some were UK E width is my old Peal shoes.

My expectation was a a US9D at BB would be UK8E since E is normal width in UK sizing. Is that correct?

With C&J and EG, yes. AS' "normal" width is F.

For most AS, F is the standard width I believe. These certainly feel like they could be UK E width though. Definitely more narrow than my UK9F boots on the same last. I emailed AS about it. I'm not really expecting them to respond, but if they do I'll post it here.

Gotcha. I only just picked up two pairs of AS after being an AE loyalist. Good to know, thanks for the information. Looking forward to more AS shoes in the future. Eyeing the Moore in cherry at this point.

Hannover is a great boot. I thought about purchasing the cambridge as well.

Thank you all for the pictures and help! I've got my pair of hannovers on order. Let's hope they work out - to be honest I'm still a little in the fence. Price is right though! Prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

AFPOS - FYI that the only reason I ordered from pedi and not you guys is because pedi provides lasted AS shoe trees.
