I've been nominated bartender of the year in australia and am attending a "Spring races" themed awards night

I've bought this jacket because i want to stand out but want some advice on what shirt and pants/chinos to wear and also a bowtie

    Thanks

The proper match for it is a match.

Don't listen to the above responses
the jacket is perfect for the event and award.
it is a fun jacket for a fun event.

    the white pants look great
    maybe pick up the teal.
Navy will work if you want to tone it down.

look for a bowtie that can pick up a color in it
    teal , navy, etc.
but do not match the shade of the tie to the pants

You might wanna mention this on the SW&D forum, as it's not exactly classic. I see a Hawaiian theme in the jacket. You might want to use that theme as a springboard for the whole outfit. Because of this pic, I'll be thinking luau all day! Pass the snout!

It´s way too short. Also loose the hankie or the ensemble will be too busy.

A decent bonfire would be a good accompaniment.
