Absolute aluminia as jacket lining

    Anyone heard of this material before? Recently pick up a jacket with such lining and the sales claims that it is used as insulating material on roof top to replace asbestos.

    Googling the term turns up a number of references with respect to mountaineering boots. It appears to be a trademarked label along the same lines as GoreTex. No mention of its fire-resistance or lack thereof...
