    Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a burgundy tie and would appreciate any opinions. Currently my top choice is this burgundy Macclesfield tie:
    https://www.samhober.com/macclesfie...undy-macclesfield-print-silk-tie-mct-357.html

I want a burgundy that isn't too purple; for reference, the burgundy grenadine ties look too purple on my monitor. I almost exclusively wear solid-colored dress shirts (sky blue and white), which is why I think a patterned tie is more suiting than the dark red grenadine gross (currently sold out), but I plan to expand my shirt selection in the future.

    Thanks!

You really don't need our endorsement for that one. It's a classic-- as are several others on that site.

That green/yellow/red Repp is stunning. Been eyeing that one for quite some time.

I love these new Hobers I got. First one is a rust, comes out more orange in the picture, second one is a linen plum, absolutely perfect for spring summer in LA. Have one more forest green grenadine waiting to be used in a week or two.

Can you please point out which one is your blue tie with yellow stripes? It's a classic!

I'm partially color blind and thought it was blue with yellow stripes!

Finally settled on the midnight navy grossa to primarily wear with my grey suits, but now trying to decide on a grey grenadine to wear with a solid navy suit to a wedding and future formal events. Trying to decide on the following. Anyone here have the grey prometeo?

Grey prometeo #11 vs charcoal grey grossa 20 vs
    Charcoal/grey silver grossa 21

Which Macclesfield prints are considered the "classics"?

Thank you. The first one is available in a few different colors. Check the second page of the Macclesfields.

Do you guys find the standard lining thick enough? Anyone get it made thicker? I like a solidly sized four in hand.

Wear grenadine Sam Hober, receive compliments on grenadine Sam Hober, order more grenadine Sam Hober, repeat.
