The sized down 1 pair (which I'm guessing is actually closer to -3 from your waist).

Anyone interesting in buying/trading my size 28 APC PS for size 29? They have two weeks worth of wear in them. PM me if interested. Thanks.

    Trenton...i think those look fine.

Can anyone really size down 5 (-3) on PS? That seems impossible

Been wearing my PS for 3 days now, and i feel its getting loose around the knees. Overall still fits nice and snug but the knee area just looks weird because of the stretch.

Any idea on how to avoid this or shrink it back to normal?

you can tell by the fades. fades from wearing raw denim look far different from fades on pre-distressed denim.

I'm having trouble deciding which ones to get.
I want a slim straight leg fit like N&F Weird Guys, Should I go with the New Cure or New Standard, or Petite Standard

Also if I'm a 34 in the Weird Guys what should I get in the APC. I don't understand their measurement guide at all on context. When I measure the waist of my weird guys like they did on context it comes up 20" and that can't be right.

I wear 34 in Weird Guys and I just got a pair of 32 New Standards a month ago and they fit really well.

For what it's worth, I went into Barney's today and tried on some fresh-stock New Standards. I normally wear a 33 or 34 (with hips at 35") in most denim depending on the brand. I tried on a 33 in the New Standard and the fit was decent. Waist was a bit big, but thighs were about as small as they could be. Didn't have time to try the 32, but will go back.

How much will PS stretch out? I have a pair of indigo raws for about a week now, it is tagged 28", measured 30" and now measures ~31", will it stretch out far more?

I wish there was a place nearby that I could go try them on. So I'm guessing the New Standards are the closest to the fit that I'm looking for?

How's the return/exchange process at Context Clothing?

They won't refund your money, but supposedly they'll accept exchanges. Thus, in theory, I should be able to exchange a pair of jeans multiple times until I find the best cut and size. Does this work in practice? Any caveats?

Should I get 29 New Standard if I wear 29 Naked & Famous Weird Guy?

I looked at the charts and they're both the same waist size (31" true).

So was the new sizing a myth?
