Must be what happens when Communists try to be "hip" and "cool".

    eyesore of Toronto's financial district.

I don't mind the TD Centre, but it's sad they had to demolish the original TD head office to build it:

Probably the worst thing in Vancouver... nicknamed the concrete waffle. [IMG]

San Francisco has an apartment tower that looks very similar. You can envision people with deluxe reel-to-reel players and shag carpeting living there, but the reality is probably far less pretty evidenced by all that cheap patio furniture on the balconies.

LOL, nothing says "penthouse" like a set of white monobloc chairs.

One of the Concrete Poet's greatest buildings, and probably the only decent example of International Style architecture in blando Vancouver there is.

Seriously...you folks' taste in architecture is in your toenails.

I don't think that's ugly at all. To me ugly is a bad idea, or an idea executed poorly. I don't think that building is guilty of either. I'm starting to think that many here have incredibly bland taste in architecture, or perhaps none at all.

I've noticed that anytime anyone disagrees with you, you always seem to think it's because they lack taste.

I've noticed that whenever you've reached your caloric allowance for the day, you exceed it.

I certainly will think that someone is lacking in taste if I see a trend that would suggest it.

I have to see this skyline ruiner everyday from my balcony. I've posted a small and brightly lit shot from a different angle than I see to spare your eyes the worst of it: [IMG]
