Yeah, and when she finds one man that do want to do all those things for her, she would just "like him as a friend"

What about Big, The Money Pit, or Bachelor Party? Also, while most slasher films are horrible, they can be fun to ridicule and add your own commentary MST3K style. On the other hand, remakes of classics or even sequels to classics tend to shit all over fond memories of the original.

Are you a B-movie fan? (The genre, not the shitty bee movie).

Torture porn schlock that somehow paints itself as morally righteous.

Essentially, Saw.

You guys need to see some classic romantic comedies... Seriously!

Try...

The Shop Around the Corner (The original You Got Mail)
His Girl Friday
The Awful Truth
The Philadelphia Story
Bringing Up Baby

+a billion or so.

These are classic movies populated with great actors and hilarious story lines. They will quickly become your favorites.

although, I have to say, I prefer the musical versions of The Shop Around the Corner (She Loves Me) and The Philadelphia Story (High Soceity).

Ha. I wouldn't call myself a fan. Some friends and I like to grab movies from the dollar bin and have a few beers while we make fun of movies. I have a couple that are some real "winners," but I don't know a whole lot about the enire genre of B-movies.

Best bad movies I've seen recently: Star Odyssey and Space Pirates

The Shop Around the Corner is seriously on my top 10 movies of all time. I have never seen She Loves Me.

+1. Without horror films, there would be no horromedies mocking them.

I have yet to see a musical I can tolerate. Most martial arts films are just too contrived.

By chance I've seen it twice. Once was at the college I used to teach at and then at Arena Stage here in DC. The DC show was quite good. It's a sappy happy romantic musical. Exactly what you'd expect.
