What a match. I feel so badly for Verdasco; he gave it his all and should have probably won, but couldn't take advantage of those love-30 games on Nadal's serve. And for his service demons to finally catch up to him in the last game was particularly gut wrenching.

I think when this match is talked about later today and tomorrow, it will go down as one of the greatest matches at the Australian Open. To me it was better than the Federer-Safin semi a few years ago and it is definitely one of the top 5 matches I've seen in my (short) lifetime.

Dang. I wish I had Tivo just for the Australian Open.

Here is that crazy point...

That was a great point, but that wasn't it. There is one even crazier in my opinion where Nadal rips a forehand winner up the line after Verdasco hits an inside-out forehand(?) to stretch Nadal a couple of feet outside of the doubles alley. I believe it was in the fourth set.

Federer a -160 favorite, according to Vegas. Thoughts? Assuming they're giving Fed the nod because Rafa's only coming off the longest match in Aussie Open history. That, and Federer's on top of his game right now.

I think Nadal has some value. I would like to know what it would be if Nadal would have won in 4 sets, instead of 5. Yeah, Fed killed Del Portro (not a big deal in my book) and Roddick (again, not a big deal). I just don't seem him playing that much better than Nadal and Nadal has the psychological advantage against Federer.

MENS FINAL. Now. Let's go Federer!

I'm staying with it as long as I can. I may have to sleep through the Super Bowl, but whatever... Federer looks really, really strong. Nadal is in trouble. He really needs to flatten out that forehand.

Federer doesn't look as sharp as he should be. His serve I feel is a little off; Nadal is getting too good a look at them. If he can keep winning 16 shot rallies, Federer will grind Nadal down.

This is much bigger than the Super Bowl in my book; and I LOVE football. You've got to stay up to witness history.

Wow. What a game by Nadal to break back.

More of luck. But I respect Nadal.

Great set point. Will Federer ever get that 14th major if Nadal is healthy?

Federer's serve is so off right now. He better get his head out of his ass and get some first serves in. Nadal is not that great of a returner.

oh. my. god. Nadal mentally owns Federer. I almost broke my laptop.

Nadal's backhand is crushing Fed's forehand. And yeah, Federer needs some first serves.
