There's a fantastic new ice cream parlor in San Francisco called Humphrey Slocum. When I asked about the name, one of the owners explained that it comes from Mr. Humphreys and Mrs. Slocum, and that at one point in his life he consumed large amounts of contraband herbal substances while watching "Are You Being Served".
