I'm not convinced you need compression shorts for that. Any tight-fitting pair of longer undershorts (bike shorts length, stopping just above the knee or mid-thigh) should do the trick.

Indeed, I wear normal Lycra shorts (above knee for summer, 3/4 length for winter) for running.
They aren't particularly compressing but they stop my thighs rubbing together and I don't get that annoying feeling when shorts ride up.
