was this only on shoes or everything? Cause i'm looking for suits in a 38R too
post #242 of 611
Suits have been reduced further as of this morning--suits that were originally put on sale at $300 are now $225. I got a Navy blazer for $75. Slim pickings among the shoes for the more common sizes, they definitely haven't replenished their stock. i looked in 11-12 and didn't seeing any Stuart's Choices. Overall, the pickings seemed pretty slim this morning, with the exception of suits. They're still some nice ones left, and if you're an odd size (i.e. X-Long), it may be your lucky day.

Did you get the brown plaid 42L SC suit or was it not Dorsia material?
I did see a brown plaid suit in 42L, but I didn't look to see whether it was Stuart's Choice. However, the pattern was just a *little* too noticeable. It would be a great choice for a college professor, but not for a white collar indentured servant working in lower Manhattan, IMHO.

It was very Prof Indy Jones at IU, I agree.

Well, here's hoping it finds a good home somewhere else. I already got a great charcoal suit on the first day (SB, side vents, wider than average lapels, ticket pocket, just the right amount of waist suppression) so that made it easier to pass on this one. If someone else pulls the trigger on that baby, though, let us know. It's a nice fabric, and a ridiculously low price.

YOU GUYS ARE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE THIS... I just came home with 15 pairs. Price? $25 each.
What size are you? You must be an uncommon size, yes??? EDIT: Please don't tell me that they just put out 25 pairs of 11.5 or 12. The howls of execration will scare my co-workers.

Nice, in 42L? Got two suits, same cut as yours the first day. A gray flannel that was so lush I was convinced it was cashmere orig $1897 but they charged $400 for it, and a nail head blue suit that was down from $1447. both were 3L's

Yeah, they had some REAL NICE flannels there the first day.
Is there any 7, 7.5 shoes left?

$25. How can they do this? If this is a joke, it is a very cruel one.

Hitman and all, Everything up to a size 8 is now $25. I pretty much cleaned them out. Funny thing is I also had a bunch of 8 1/2s for myself in the stack (now at $75). The salesman who has been helping me all three days and who I know from the actual PS store carried my bags to the register with me. The register people started opening my boxes to check sizes in order to determine the price. My salesman told them "No, they are all $25." So, I got them all for $25. I have a few 7s that I am going to sell, and perhaps some others that aren't to my taste. All in all, I couldn't believe it. Had to take a cab ride home and had a lot of trouble because I couldn't carry everything. Anyway, there it is. Great start to the day. I'll let you know what I don't want to keep this afternoon. Oh, and an awesome suit marked from $1284 to $275

Great haul... Definitely post pics.. How did you carry everything though? EDIT: Also, of the 15 pairs, how many were Stuart's Choice?
