I dont usually listen to Drum n Bass, or Trance or even Prog House...

Just regular old "boring" house..... My favorite sets this year were the Justice and the Crookers (2nd half of the set, anyway) and Greg Wilson. The Josh Wink set last week was pretty ok.

The Greg Wilson set is more old school than anything else... but i think it kicks ass

If anything, just for the change of pace. I have listened to it about 5 times this week.

If you go to this website... there are hundreds of archived Essential Mixes you can listen to. See below.

The crookers set was awesome. Their set and the one Deadmau5 did are the best of 2008 in my opinion.

Yah... the Vinyl that was down on North Moore St.. or Hudson Street.

I agree. That was so awesome. And it was during the daytime and they didnt serve alcohol. And pretty much everyone there was dancing and dressed in casual/comfortable clothing. That was a once in a lifetime experience (The Body and Soul parties of that era). Francois K will always be one of my favorites.

The Crookers set started kind of slow... and then about 45 minutes into it they started their "club dj set" and everything went insane from that point forward.

I didnt hear the Deadmau5... so i will have the check that out. Thanks!
I think I went to (mostly) all the Subliminal sessions.... I think that was Thursday nights if i remember correctly. Or was it Tuesday?

Either way.... those were good times.

I used to see all those DJ's buying records at the Flea Markets in Chelsea.. when they still had those 6th ave Flea Markets. I was such a fanboy.

Roger Sanchez was the man... at that point in time. I dont know about anymore, however....
