Blonde guy looks like he just caught a big invisible fish. On a similar note, why is so much media/advertising from these parts coupled with ridiculous amounts of enthusiasm? Is everyone constantly on laughing gas or something? Not trying to be funny, I'm genuinely curious.

It is a shame that I didn't notice that until I read this thread. Maybe I should watch some advertisements on Korean television and contribute again on this thread, later.

Is that really Juun J? He's certainly sporting a different look these days. On this topic, do you know his real name? I thought it was Jeong Ok Jun, but I cant find the info anywhere now that I'm looking. EDIT: Oh you ass. That's Andre Kim.

Jung Wook Jun is Juun J..... I had the pleasure of standing next to Andre Kim at the bookstore one time, reading books... if you think he looks like a freak in pictures.....

^^ damn so close. Really, we just romanized the same phonetics differently.. I wasn't certain at the time (and still am not now) but I think I saw Juun J at Gangnam express bus terminal. Short, gay-looking Korean and he was wearing a short sleeve trench coat.

yeah but he did the identity swap just very recently, it's still Lone Costume by Jung Wook Jun and then Juun J as his 'mainline'... how diffusion came first, that is kinda funny huh. Maybe I will have Temple of Jawnz as the diffusion line and TOJ by XXXX XXXXX as my mainline, lol. New face of Korean fashion by the reluctant Korean

Here's my take on Korean fashion from my time in Hongdae (my gf is a Hongik student so I go there a lot): Wear some synthetic leather shoes, wear either horribly faded Buckaroos or extremely skinny jeans with no stacking, wear an obnoxious white tshirt. These are the basics. To make your style REALLY shine, add a HAT and VEST. Now you are the most stylish dude in Korea, just like everyone else. For that extra bit of style, wear some fake black plastic framed glasses. If you are a girl: look like a hot but naive prostitute. I don't really complain about how girls dress in Hongdae though.

Their mainstream fashion is still 10x better than Americas

I feel like Korea is starting to surpass Japan in terms of average girls dressing like hookers

What does your girlfriend study? I know a lot of people in the fine-arts program at Hongik
