I sweat a lot from my head and face; summer and winter. I don't sweat profusely from anywhere else. Armpits, chest, back - all relatively dry. Never been able to figure that one out. In the summer, I have to carry around stacks of tissue.

Unfortunately, the 'sweating like a rapist' look, is not in this year.

I've found that the expensive medical wipes (large sized, white and very thick) work a treat. They don't turn to mush after one wipe and can be disposed of easily. I pilfered a handful while visiting someone in hospital. Think I'll buy a few boxes for summer 2009. The problem with tissues, is that they crumble and flake onto dark coloured suits.

I have the same issue, especially in situations where I'm giving a presentation or otherwise under social pressure. I've used the prescription strength antiperspirants on my face, and they help somewhat. They are pretty drying and may irritate sensitive skin, so I'd recommend using them no more than once a week. If your sweating is due to anxiety in certain social situations, you might also try Inderal. It seemed to help a bit. Honestly, what seemed to help me the most was dropping about 20 pounds and getting down to 10-11% body fat. It is hardly a problem at all now.
