eh... APC no longer allows retailers to discount their denim range. Discount code prob won't work.

There're other good products in APC price range. Crate, for example, makes a handful of straight cut models. With Secret Service's SF discount, come up to be less than APC too.

they look really great actually. I'd be interested to see how much they bleed out. my RLs I love but they bleed a tad bit more than i expected.

Does anyone know if these jeans are going to stretch like usual dry denim jeans? I called The Gap product information line and none of them had any idea about dry denim.

Oh I did not know this as the last time I bought a pair of NS from denimbar was a while ago. Druing that time a lot of the affliates were doing discount as well. I guess that's over with.

How can you not have raw white denim? Raw means they are untreated/unwashed. I mean you can have raw chinos and they don't fade like indiglo.

Not for the fades, but for the unique way they form to your body.

Just thought I'd weigh in - got a coupon code a while back and grabbed a pair of the elevated low-rise straight fits.

Denim weight is meh, but the dyeing is actually pretty decent, plus you get hidden rivets and a button fly. At $90, I'd still spend the extra $35 or whatever for APC (although APC doesn't have hidden rivets), but once these go on sale they'll be a real nice cop.

How's the sizing on this denim? Do you suggest sizing down or just go regular.

APC's aren't nice either, you'll just end up buying a nicer pair eventually so why bother with APC?

APCs are built to last, are cut pretty well, fade beautifully, and pretty much blow away anything in their price range. I agree that they're in a different league than repro brands, but they're excellent jeans for the (discounted) price.

And as for the post you quoted, I agree with the bleeding issue; I can tell these new Gaps will bleed like crazy, but I actually feel like they'll result in a decent fade. I think they're def worth half a pair of APC.




Oversized, like all Gap. The a 36 waist on the Elevated Low Rise Straight measures almost 39" out of the box (rise is around 11", leg opening around 9").

I actually don't mind the straight fit from the GAP. It can be better but what can I expect for that price right. Anyways, would you recommend that I get them in my normal GAP size or a size lower.

:/ I wouldn't say APCs are built all that well... and there are a lot of jeans in that price range that are comparable if not better
