Only in the authentic fit unfortunately and only in 30" inseam if your waist is under 30". Still, not bad for the price. Kudos to GAP for introducing respectable clothes to the masses.

Saw these at the flagship store in SF and saw these too. The other selvage colors look really cool, esp grey and beige. From afar the mid-grey looked like wool flannel until I picked it up and realized it was denim. The beige is similar to the color of sand desert boots. They were still rigid but in those colors the white in the denim shows a bit more I guess because those colors just fantastically lived in and vintage. Would have been tempted but again, shortest inseams are 30" in-store.

Just noticed that the grey Authentic selvedge jeans are available online, and in longer inseams too (28/32 and 29/32 are available).

Also, I'm looking for someone in San Francisco who can do a proxy for me, please.

Okay so I've had a pair of skinny japanese denim selvage from holiday 08. The fit's great, they've been a bit thin but the denim's been disappointingly weak. The crotch was wearing out after 6 months and i had to reinforce it with some intense patching. The back pocket wore through to a hole within 3 weeks of putting a wallet in it. It's currently patched up with a full pocket size reinforcement. Also, my cell phone has worn a hole in the thigh that i need to patch soon.

i'm not saying they're bad, just that they could be thicker, and that maybe i just wear through jeans fast, but these won't make it to a year and half. i'm thinking maybe uniqlo raw next... or kmw. i dunno. the fit is great though, like really solid.

I'm just procrastinating on exams right now but i'll get pics up soon.

The 08's and the 09's are completey diffrent jeans from what I heard.

They revamped their jeans after the japanese selvedge from 08'.

My jeans are also double rung spun (1969 men skinny), and they dont say "authentic Japanese denim" like they used to.

They are made in the same part of China APC's are made.
