While I do find Stefano Tonchi to often look really cool in his fashion forward suits, he is the antithesis of the Style Forum iGent. I quote him, ""tradition and 'good taste' are [...] the enemy of change and evolution."

And yet that outfit is not really forward or evolutionary - it's a take on the standard kind of contemporary modernist monachrome that architects and the like used to favour, with its main stylistic difference or point of interest being generated by a DB suit in fine cloth. As a result it is actually rather conservative within the context in which he operates.

Scott sez... "I think he is one of those guys I’ll be shooting for years to come"...

Plus a couple of pretty girls, from London and Paris. I'm actually not entirely sure which outfit is more the more artificial/stylised, at least conceptually. But they're both quite fun anyway.

I believe this is the traditional dress of a very isolated tribe in the Himalayas for going to church on Sundays.

Don't you feel bad now?

Those kooky Japanese. smile.gif

His jacket is made from traditional japanese indigo dyed cotton - a take on traditional/antique japanese peasant clothes which are currently a bit of streetwear thing in Japan.

The baggy trousers with rolled cuffs/bottoms on both are also loosely from the Japanese farming tradition.

As for the entire ensembles..........well...................whatever...............................shog[1].gif
